Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Happy December to everyone. I am very very excited this season as this not only means a gift of 3DS-XL for yours truly, there are just too many things that truly set apart December from all the other months. Be it your love for snow, family, or just time off from life, December is truly one of the most-awaited months of the year.

The Christmas holidays is the most exciting event of the year for many and as a group, MF4L admins would like to wish you a wonderful holiday season but more importantly...

*ahem* *whips out a gigantic scroll*

I am pleased to announce the commencement of the MF4L 2012 Christmas Contest. Taking inspiration to the weather, the ambiance, and the love of the EB series, we would like to encourage you to write, draw, sculpt, or take a picture of what you think a Christmas or winter would be like for your favourite Mother/EB character. But taking this into an even better extreme, as suggested by ~Silly-Sphere, we would love to adorn our front page with pictures of enemies and heroes 'bein' friends'. It would be great to see some artwork featuring the silliest, funniest and most evil bosses and enemies our heroes have encountered during their journeys setting aside their differences with our heroes and celebrating Christmas together.

Rules

A minimum of 10 participants is necessary for the contest to go ahead.

This contest is open to ALL. LET'S SPREAD THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT!

A minimum of ONE enemy, ranging from the silly to the terrifying per entry.

ANY medium of art is allowed.

1 entry per person

NO stealing other people's art! That includes the usage of bases, tracing, etc.

Please enter art created solely for this contest. Do not enter old artwork that seems to fit around the theme of the contest.

You must be willing to let your image/story/icon/whathaveyou, if it wins, be used in various forms including but not limited to journal features.

Please submit to the CORRECT folder. I cannot stress this enough.

Make sure your artwork fits the theme, not the theme fit your artwork.

Mature artwork will NOT be accepted.
